Deirdre McCarthy is the author of the award-winning children’s picture book series Counting with Common Cents. She has a Master’s with distinction in Science in Education. In addition, Deirdre has earned a certification through the National Financial Educators Council. Her experience as a classroom teacher and as a parent inspired her to create meaningful children’s picture books.
